We play indie music.

We are a group of UMass students playing mostly classic rock with some originals.

Willie T & Doctor X are a dynamic, singer/songwriter duo, performing mostly original acoustic roots-rock/folk/blues (aka Americana). Their music evokes an overall 1970s roots-rock feel, delivered with an authenticity that comes from growing up with that sound as teenagers and performing it themselves ever since.

Darlene Wigton, vocal and classical guitar. I perform traditional Songs of the British Isles and Early America. With the current interest in the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War, I can offer a program of songs from the times leading up to and during the Rev War, including political, military, tavern songs, broadside ballads, and romantic songs from the 17th and 18th centuries. I include a brief history of the lyrics and tunes and perform in 18thc period dress. If the venue prefers, I can also perform traditional songs from a broader time frame and not related to the Rev War.

We play an eclectic mix of romantic/meditative instrumental tunes from variety of traditions and genres, including movie themes, gospel/hymns/worship, classical, jazz, and the American Songbook.

Porchfish is a solo blues act with guitarist/vocalist Bob Oakes playing old Delta Blues on slide guitar and acoustic guitar. Playing mostly in the Somerville area Porchfish plays a collection of songs from his favorites including Son House and Memphis Minnie as well as original material.

Affordable Butter is a group of semi-pro friends who wanted to play songs that have deep meaning with them. Acoustic guitars, fiddles, and heartfelt vocals.
